Base Image

RPi-Mac release

The operating system, emulator and web control panel. The newest release is almost always the right choice.

Macintosh ROM

Quadra 650 — The standard RPi-Mac ROM. Boots System 7 and Mac OS 8. 1.0 MB

Startup Disks

Tick the disks to put on the card. The order you tick them is the SCSI order — the first disk is the startup disk.

Mac OS 8.1 Startup Disk — 1.6 GB disk with Mac OS 8.1 installed and ready to boot. 1.6 GB
System 7.5 Startup Disk — 1 GB disk that boots straight into System 7.5. 1000.0 MB

Blank disks

Empty disks the Mac will offer to initialise on first boot — handy as installation targets or extra storage.

CD-ROMs

Mac OS 8.1 Install CD — Bootable installer - start from CD and install onto a blank disk. 400.8 MB
System 7.5.3 Install CD — Bootable install CD; doubles as a recovery volume. 255.0 MB

Start up from First disk CD-ROM

Start from CD-ROM to run an OS installer onto a blank disk, just like holding C on a real Mac.

Everything here can be changed later by editing mac.txt on the SD card or from the Mac's web control panel. The WiFi password is written into your image — the download link is private and the build is deleted after 24 hours.
